Gatha Louise Gould Kyle

Gatha was born Thursday, April 20, 1961, in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland, a daughter of the late Arlie Gould and Dorothy “Til” Tavenor Gould.

On April 21, 1984, in Mill Creek, she was married to Terry Lynn Kyle, who survives. They had celebrated 41 years of marriage.

Also left to cherish Gatha’s memory is one son, Zachary Kyle and wife, Rose Ann; one daughter, Danielle Miller and husband, Thomas; four grandchildren, Khloe Tenney, Emma Tenney, Thomas “Sawyer” Miller and Henslee Miller, all of Mill Creek; and one sister, Dawn Serrick and husband, Hank, of Deer Lake, Newfoundland.

Gatha graduated high school in Brampton, Ontario, and went on to complete her associate degree in Hotel Restaurant Management. She had worked many years as a CNA at Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center.

Gatha was an avid reader who also enjoyed crocheting, cross-stitch, and gardening including her rose bushes. She enjoyed shopping in person and online. She loved her family and was a proud “Mammie” to her precious grandkids. She will be greatly missed.

Gatha’s request for cremation will be honored with no services to follow.
