Dennis Paul Kelley

Dennis was born Tuesday, March 16, 1954, in Parsons, a son of the late Noah Kelley and Nina Hauser Kelley.

On May 11, 1981, he married the former Granada Marie Roberts, who preceded him in death July 6, 2020. They had celebrated 39 years of marriage.

Also left to cherish Dennis’ memory are two children, Noah David Kelley and wife, Patricia, and Sara Elizabeth Kelley Davis; four grandchildren, Jolene, Lillian, Annabelle and Jake; great-grandson, William Stemple; and cousins, Lee and Cindy Kelley who were such an immense help to him; especially in the last few years.

Preceding Dennis in death besides his parents and wife were siblings, Marian McIntire, Ben, Leon and Harold Kelley.

Dennis was a 1972 graduate of Parsons High School and obtained his bachelor’s degree from Davis & Elkins College. He drove a tractor trailer for many years. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, and talking with family and friends. He never met a stranger. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren; every July, he looked forward to the Kelley family reunion.

Visitation was held at the Hostetler Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., the funeral hour.

Rev. Adam Snyder officiated.

Dennis’ request for cremation will then be honored.
