Rhonda Lynn Arbogast Shreve

Rhonda Lynn Arbogast Shreve, 57, a resident of Huttonsville, passed from this life Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family and under the care of WV Caring.

Rhonda was born on Sunday, March 24, 1968, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Don Hartsel Arbogast and Helen Cleo Scott Arbogast.

On Aug. 25, 1995, at Wegman Park, she was married to Edward “Bug” Shreve, who survives. They had celebrated 30 years of marriage.

Also left to cherish Rhonda’s memory are six children, Matthew Don Shreve and wife, Chelsey, of East Dailey, Zakery Shreve of Huttonsville, Amber Shreve and companion, Rick Poole, of Sebring, Ohio, Alyssia Reesman and husband, Devin, of Huttonsville, Trenton Shreve and companion, Tanley Triplett, of Phillipi and Cateilyn Marie Mearns of Huttonsville; five siblings, Ronnie Arbogast and wife, Serena, of Mill Creek, Marilyn Westfall and fiance, Tim Gifford, of Elkins, Jerry Arbogast and wife, Donna, of Mill Creek, Donna Brackin of Elkins and Steven Arbogast and wife, Lori, of Mill Creek; seven grandchildren, Dustin Harvey, Logan Shreve, E.J. Shreve, Kellan Lanham, Ellie Rose Shreve-Shumate, Maci Jean Reesman and Kabrienne Dawn Shreve; and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Micheal Strawder.

Preceding Rhonda in death besides her parents was her daughter, Angela Dawn “Angie” Shreve; and a brother, Randall Arbogast.

Rhonda attended Tygarts Valley High School and later obtained her GED. She was a homemaker and had worked in laundry at ERCC. She enjoyed fishing, finding four leaf clovers, cooking, watching Big Brother, watching her kids and grandkids play sports. She loved her family and having big family gatherings.

Visitation will be held at Randolph Funeral Home on Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the funeral hour.

Rev. Harold Swecker will officiate and interment will follow in Brick Church Cemetery.
