Cleston Morris Mills

He was born Nov. 19, 1932, in Upshur County, West Virginia, a son of the late Robert Lee and Ocie B. Hibbs Mills.

On Sept. 29, 2012, he married Nancy Miller, who preceded him in death on July 23, 2023.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Pamela Anne Prell and Athena Kay Mills; two brothers, William Robert and Charles E. Mills; and two sisters, Gladys Ruth Mills and Hettie Ellen Hall. Surviving are one daughter, Rebecca D. Smith of Durham, North Carolina; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; four sisters, Alda Wren Mills and husband, Mendel, of Bridgeport, West Virginia, Dora Leen Parkhill of Buckhannon, Dorothy Deloris Harper of Lewisville, Ohio, and Wrickey Mae Barnett of Akron, Ohio; one step-daughter, Darlene Bender and husband, Leon, of Buckhannon; one step-son, Larry Cutlip and wife, Beverly, of Buckhannon, West Virginia; several step- grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and one special nephew, Darrell Morris of Wichita, Kansas.

Mr. Mills was a truck driver and a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness in Weston, West Virginia.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and playing golf.

In honoring Mr. Mill’s wishes, he will be cremated.
