Nancy Ruth (Roberts) Loudin

Nancy Ruth (Roberts) Loudin, 76, a resident of Norton, gained her angel wings, Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, in the Davis Medical Center, while she had been in declining health, death was unexpected.
She was born October 14, 1949 in Elkins, a daughter of the late Andrew “Slim” Roberts and the late Naomi Ruth Bennett Roberts.
On Aug. 19, 1968, at Oakland, Maryland, she was married to Danny Neal Loudin, who survives in Norton.
She is survived by one son, Jeffrey Loudin and wife, Melody, Fort Worth, Texas; and one daughter, Jennifer Ware and husband, Gary, also of Norton.
One brother, Jimmy (Jake) Roberts of Elkins; three grandchildren, Carter Loudin, Paityn Ware and Tanner Ware; special nieces, Jo Ellen Howell, Jane Sine and Susan Bailey; special nephews, Jeremy and Jason Roberts; and a special great-niece, Tessa Chenoweth also survive.
Nancy was a graduate of Elkins High School with the Class of 1967 and a 1968 graduate of Davis Memorial Hospital School of Practical Nursing. Over the next 40 years she dedicated her life to caring for others, finally retiring in 2008 from Davis Memorial Hospital.
Nancy’s request for cremation will be honored.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
