Sara Lea Black Carr
Sara Lea (Black) Carr, 90, of 1726 Cheat Valley Highway, God gained an Angel on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, in the compassionate care of WV Caring Hospice in Elkins, West Virginia. Though she had been in declining health, her passing was unexpected.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons, West Virginia, on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Final rites will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m.
The Rev. Todd Rhodes will officiate and interment will follow at the Brights Chapel Cemetery at Dry Fork, West Virginia.
