Teresa F. Moore Blankenship, 62, a resident of Elkins, passed away Saturday, Nov29, 2025 at Davis Medical Center in Elkins. She had been in her usual health and death was unexpected.
She was born March 21, 1963, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Ralph Moore and Frances Bohon Moore. On Dec. 15, 1990, she was married to Robert “Bob” Blankenship, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Greg Phares and wife, Collene, of Elkins; three daughters, Ashley Wilson and husband, Mark, of Elkins, Heather Morgan and significant other, William King, of Belington and Amy Dillon and husband, Mike, of Honea Path, South Carolina; one brother, Bernard “Bud” Moore of Elkins; and three sisters, Nancy Morgan and husband, Tom, of Elkins, Jean Teter of Elkins and Carole McDonald and husband, Tom, of Junior. Thirteen grandchildren, Jaiden, Adam, Peyton, Waylon, Addisyn, Ameliah, Silas, Taylor, Lucas, Aedon, Easton, Tres and Stella; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Also preceding her in death were her mother and father-in-law, Rosella and Robert A. Blankenship, Sr.; three brothers, Donald “Don” Moore, James “Jim” Moore and Jerry Moore; and one sister, Irene Moore.
Teresa was a graduate of Elkins High School and was the Payroll Clerk for Hometown Care.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dave Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
