Barbara was a graduate of the Follansbee High School with the class of 1960. Her work career expanded over many years. But she was lastly employed by the Belington Medical Clinic, where she worked as a referral specialist, from which she retired at the age of 76.

She loved to garden and took pride in canning her harvest and took extra pride in her flower beds. She was an excellent cake decorator and an avid seamstress and would make outfits for her daughters, especially their Easter dresses and their doll babies when they were little. Barbara had a great talent for flower arranging and took great pride in designing the flower arrangements that she placed on her loved ones graves every year. She was a wonderful cook and it was widely known if you left her house hungry it was your own fault. Her family was her life and taking care of them meant everything to her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
