Robert Dale ‘Bob’ McCauley Sr.
Robert Dale “Bob” McCauley Sr., 81, a resident of the Cravensdale Community, Elkins, West Virginia, passed away peacefully in his sleep with his dog Blu at his side Saturday morning, Dec. 27, 2025, at his home. He had been in declining health for the past year.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday.
Final Rites will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at 11 a.m.
The Rev. Jamie Andrews will officiate, and interment will follow at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman, West Virginia, where full military honors will be accorded by members of the WV National Guard Honor Guard Program, the H.W. Daniel’s Post 29, American Legion and the Tygarts Valley Post 3647, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
