Anna Ruth Harper

She was born Sept. 25, 1940, at Thomas, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Albert and Eleanor Jennings of Davis West Virginia.

She is survived by two sons, Keith and wife, Tracy Harper, of Elkins, West Virginia, and Rodney and wife, Katie Harper, of Dryfork, West Virginia; one daughter, Peggy and husband, Ronnie Bennett, of Job, West Virginia; six grandchildren, several great grand-children and great-great grandchildren also survive.

Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Della Kibert and Norma Jean Fusco; one brother, Frank Jennings; and a special aunt, Pauline Trenein.

Anna retired from Kmart as assistant manager after many years.

Mrs. Harper was a member of the Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church in Elkins, West Virginia.

Friends may call from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, from the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Todd Rhodes officiating.

Cremation will follow.
