Betty L. New, a former resident of Jerusalem Road, Mill Creek, West Virginia, and recently of Lavender Fields Assisted Living Facility in Beverly, West Virginia, departed this life Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday, from the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Andrew Boley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Elkins Memorial Gardens.
In her memory, the family request contributions are made to a charity of choice in Betty’s memory.
