Billie Belcher

She was a woman whose life spanned nearly a century leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, resilence, and profound wisdom.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, the love of her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna, and son-in-law David Rogers, who reside in Boulder, Colorado.

Billie had a beautiful blended family and truly loved Kim and Larry Jones and Doris Knotts of Elkins, who were devoted to her care.

While residing on Vernon Avenue, Billie enjoyed her view from her picture window of the mountains and of her hummingbird feeder and deer sightings. She loved greeting her Meals on Wheels volunteers and she knew everyone by name. She also adored her two cats, Luke and Lucky.

We cannot say enough as a blended family about the beautiful care and love that was extended to Billie by the ERCC staff of dedicated caregivers and by the WV Caring Hospice.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
