Mary Lou Childs Bishoff, 94, a resident of Elkins, West Virginia, departed this life early Friday morning, Feb. 13, 2026, at the Elkins Rehabilitation & Care Center at Elkins, West Virginia.
She was born Tuesday, March 17, 1931, at Albright, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Oakey Albert Childs and Edna Maxine Jefferys Childs.
On Dec. 18, 1948, she was married to Junior Ray Bishoff Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Junior Ray "JR" Bishoff Jr. and wife, Lynn, of Spencer; one daughter, Sabrina Lou Bolton and husband, Roger, of Elkins; two sisters-in-law, Freda Smith of Bruceton Mills and Maxine Ringer of Point Marion, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Joshua Ray Bishoff and wife, Cassie, Amanda Lynn Cottrill and husband, Brad, Katlyn Brooke Dye and husband, Brandon, and Alaina Rae Beeson-Bertelli and husband, Jason; and 10 great-grandchildren, Ethan Cottrill and wife, Grace, Hailey Cottrill, Brady Cottrill, Colton Bishoff, Chloe Bishoff, Bristol Dye, twins Connor and Thaddeus Beeson, Alessia Beeson and Eden Beeson.
Preceding her in death is one great-grandson, Noah Beeson
She attended Kingwood High School and was a homemaker.
Mary Lou was a member of the Wayside United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Women's group.
Mary Lou was a wonderful and caring person who will be greatly missed. She loved spoiling all her grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026.
Final Rites will be conducted from the funeral home Wednesday at noon.
Pastor John Welch will officiate and interment will follow at the American Legions Little Arlington Cemetery at Cravensdale, West Virginia.
