Emilio Frank ‘Shorty’ Gola
Emilio Frank “Shorty” Gola, 90, of Elkins, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center.
He was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, to Michele Dominic “Mike” and Maria “Mary” Bolsani Gola.
Friends and family will be received at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins, on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Final Rites will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m.
The Rev. Tim Edin will officiate, and interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens at Mt. Clare, West Virginia, where full military honors will be accorded by members of the WV National Guard Honor Guard Program and the Harrison County Honor Guard.
