Robbie Ray Waugaman

WAUGAMAN

Robbie Ray Waugaman, 64, a resident of Philippi, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Robbie was born May 6, 1961, in Philippi, a son of the late Charles Junior and Deloris Jean (Moore) Waugaman.

Robbie was united in marriage to Edna F. (Thompson) Waugaman, who survives.

Robbie worked as a carpenter; he enjoyed woodworking and was always building things for family and friends. Robbie liked to work puzzles, and working with rocks in the tumbler. Robbie loved to travel and often take walks in the woods. Robbie worked for Gambill Amusements, Hathaway Construction, Hermanski Construction, Bartlett Construction and Builder's Center.

Robbie is survived by his wife, Edna; siblings, Gregory Cunningham, Mike Cunningham, Jainie (Robert) Riley, Tonda Anthony, Rick Waugaman, Renelda (Charles) Starkey and Steve (Vicky) Waugaman; special nephew, Jimmy Waugaman; and great- nephew, Cody Bake; as well as several other nieces and nephews.

Robbie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Deloris Waugaman; and siblings, Victor Waugaman and Donna Kay Waugaman.

Family will receive friends at the Wright Funeral Home and on-site Crematory, 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi, on Wednesday March 18, from 5-8 p.m. and on Thursday March 19, from 9-11 a.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. with Pastor Howard Swick officiating.

Robbie will be laid to rest in the Philippi Masonic Cemetery.
