Anita Lynn Byrd Kelley

Anita attended Randolph county schools and graduated from Elkins High School class of 1987.

She retired as an IT Specialist from the U.S. Forest Service after 36 years of service. She thought of her coworkers as family.

Anita was very family-oriented and cherished her children and especially her granddaughters, Riley and Grace. Anita had a beautiful smile and a heart of gold. She loved to help anyone in need.

Anita is survived by her husband, Darl Tim Kelley Jr.; her son, Jacob Kelley and wife, Katie; her daughter, Elizabeth Humphries and husband, Michael; granddaughters, Riley and Grace; four sisters Kimberly Wymer, Jane Gibson Roseberry, Karen Channell and Bernice Becker; and two brothers, Mark Byrd and Joshua Byrd.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents Richard L. Byrd Sr. and Loretta Byrd; one brother, Richard Jr.; and one sister, Tina Shaffer.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday May 2, 2026, from noon to 3 p.m. at Leading Creek Fire Department, 71 Triplett Run Road, Kerens WV 26276.

Anita has requested in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Judes Children Hospital or Feeding America.

The Randolph Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Anita Lynn Byrd Kelley.
