Neva A. Georgeson

She was born May 22, 1934, at Beckley, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Richard H. Paul and the late Mildred Landis Paul. On June 23, 1954, in Elkins, she married Robert Lee âPopeyã Georgeson, who survives in Elkins.

Also surviving are two daughters, Rebecca âBeckyã Satterfield and husband, Danny, and Barbara âBobbiã Phares and husband, Ed, all of Elkins.

One sister, Gayle Moore of Elkins; six grandchildren, Rober Satterfield (Heather), Tim Satterfield (Natosha) Sean Phares (Ashley), Danielle Satterfield, Holly Satterfield (Alex) and Megan Thomas (Drew); and several great-grandchildren also survive.

Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Richard Paul and Charles Paul; and sisters-in-law, Nancy Paul and Alene Paul; and a brother-in-law; Richard Moore.

Neva was employed as a manager at McManus Office Supply and Mt. State Memorial Gardens for many years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church in Elkins.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon Monday, April 27, 2026, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at noon Monday from the funeral home chapel with Robert Hermanson officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. State Memorial Gardens near Gilman.
