Brenda Lee (Ware) Doyle

Ms. Brenda Lee (Ware) Doyle, 63, a resident of Philippi, departed this life Thursday evening May 21, 2026, at her residence.

Death was following a period of declining health.

She was born May 2, 1963, at West Chester, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Denzil Ware and the late C. Jean Ketchem.

On Aug. 16, 1986, she was united in marriage to Bradley Doyle, who preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 2019.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Nathan Ware of Philippi and Garrett Doyle of Morgantown, West Virginia.

She is also survived by a sister, Deloris Biller; her sister-in-law, Becci Ware; her niece and nephews, Christi Lester, Jeremy Biller, Jordon Ware, Kenyon Ware, Seth Parsons, Johnny King, Joe King and Matthew King; her great-great nephew; several great-nephews and a great niece; and her canine companions, Piper and Cujo.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Ware.

Brenda was a graduate of Philip Barbour High School with the class of 1981, and later became a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed visiting flea markets and antique shops, and she loved crafting. Brenda also loved traveling and spending time in nature and considered camping a time of tranquility.

She and Brad made yearly trips to Cades Cove to watch bears and cubs, where her fascination with bears became one of her favorite pastimes. She was a Methodist by faith and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends may be received on Tuesday May 26, 2026, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington.

A funeral Service will be conducted, from the funeral home chapel, at noon, with Lay Speaker Michael Talbott officiating.

Interment will follow in the Lambert Chapel Cemetery near Belington.
