Charlotte Ann Spencer Anderson
ANDERSON
Charlotte Ann Spencer Anderson, 66, of Junior, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday June 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving husband and family after a courageous five-year battle with breast cancer.
Charlotte was born on Sept. 11, 1959, to the late Frank and Loretta McDonald Spencer of Junior, West Virginia.
She was the devoted wife of Charles W. Anderson, with whom she shared 49 years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on love, family, hard work and unwavering dedication to one another. She was a wonderful mother, a loving wife, a hardworking woman and a cherished friend to many.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, Charles W. Anderson of Junior; her sons, Jeremy Wayne Anderson and companion, Amanda Singley, of Junior and Joshua Logan Anderson and companion, Jenn McPhearson, of Junior; and her siblings, May Kovach of Canton, Ohio, Gary Spencer of Norton, West Virginia, Libby Ferguson of Montrose, West Virginia, Karen Preston of Elkins, West Virginia, Bobby Dale Spencer of Belington, West Virginia, and Roger Spencer of Junior, West Virginia. She also leaves behind countless in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends whose lives were touched by her kindness and love.
In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her siblings, Bud Spencer, John Spencer, Roy Spencer and Peggy Sue Brown.
Charlotte was one of 10 siblings and held her family close to her heart throughout her life. She found joy in the outdoors and loved camping, hunting and fishing, but her greatest passion was searching the hills and valleys for morel mushrooms.
Those who knew her will remember her warm heart, strong spirit, and the love she shared so freely with everyone around her. Her final moments were spent peacefully at home with her husband, Charles, her sons Jeremy and Joshua, and their companions, Jennifer and Amanda, by her side. Charlotteás memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, she will never be forgotten. Until we meet again, we can imagine her casting a line in the waters of Heaven or smiling and saying, âThereás one,ã in a valley filled with morel mushrooms. She will be forever loved and forever remembered.
