Constance ‘Connie’ (Skidmore) Clark

Constance “Connie” (Skidmore) Clark, 92, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026.

Born Jan. 16, 1934, in Junior, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Freeman and Phyllis Marie (Corley) Skidmore.

Connie was the beloved wife of the late John William “Bill” Clark and a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church since 1969.

A devoted homemaker, longtime 4-H leader and talented crafter, she was known for her creativity, generosity, quick wit and deep love of family. She especially cherished Christmas traditions, gardening, church fellowship, and time spent with loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughters, Anna Marie Clark and Mattie Lou Clark; her sister; her parents; and several extended family members.

She is survived by her children, Michael William (Valorie) Clark, Alice Faye Perdue (Richard Skarzenski), Deborah Lynn (Brian) Clark-Petz, Mark Patrick Clark, Amy Kathleen (Jeremy) Andrews and Sherrie (Ian) Clark Stump; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Thomas R. Skidmore, William J. Skidmore and David A. (Tess) Skidmore; and many loving relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church or Harford County 4-H.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the Mill Creek Cemetery, Mill Creek Road, Mill Creek, WV 26280.
