Darl Lee Pudder
PUDDER
Darl Lee Pudder, 74, a resident of Harding, West Virginia, departed his life on Wednesday, June 11, 2026, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. He had been in declining health for several months.
Mr. Pudder was born on Aug. 19, 1951, in Elkins, West Virginia, a son of the late Troy Layman and Norma “Toots” Lillian Pudder.
On May 3, 1975, he was married to Debra Lynn Simmons Pudder, who preceded him in death on Sept. 19, 2009.
Surviving him are four children, sons Benjamin Lee and wife, Joann, of Beverly, Christopher Lynn of Dailey, Jeremy Deyon and wife, Stephanie, of Elkton, Virginia, and daughter, Tracy Danielle of Harding; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; his brother, Troy Harvey Pudder and wife, Joyce, of Harding; and his sister-in-law, Gloria Pudder (wife of brother Carl) of Junior, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pudder was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Lynn Simmons Pudder; his parents, Troy Layman and Norma Corley Pudder; his sister, Norma Jane Pudder Ash and husband, Domnick Ash; and his twin brother, Carl See Pudder.
Mr. Pudder attended Randolph County Schools and worked at Tygart Moulding Corporation for several years until his retirement. He loved his family, would do anything for anyone and enjoyed spending time in the mountains.
Per his wishes, Mr. Pudder will be cremated, and a celebration of life for friends and family will be held at a later date.
The Randolph Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Darl Lee Pudder.
