Deborah Elaine Kittle White

Mrs. Deborah Elaine Kittle White, 69, a former resident of Belington and more recently of Oakland, Maryland, departed this life Saturday evening May 30, 2026, in the comforts of her daughter’s home in Oakland. Death was following a period of declining health.

She was born April 23, 1957, at Fairmont, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Harold Ray “Jack” and Lillie Bess Ramsey Kittle.

She is survived by two children, Shawn White of Belington, West Virginia, and Shana Healey and husband, Nathaniel, of Oakland, Maryland.

Additional survivors include seven granddaughters, one grandson and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Michael White; and two sisters, Sharon Lynn Cross and Lois Pharis.

Deborah attended the schools of Barbour County and was a graduate of the Philip Barbour High School with the class of 1975. She formerly worked as an EMT for the Belington EMS and was a member of the VFW Laurel Mountain Post 410 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a Christian by faith and was an avid Mountaineer sports fan, she also enjoyed reading very much and she dearly loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral, Home 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington, on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 11 a.m. to noon, the funeral hour, when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel, with the Pastor Dennis Leatherman officiating.

Per Deborah’s request, cremation will be honored following the services.
