Dolores Anne Hinebaugh Roberts-Auvil, 91, a resident of Hendricks, West Virginia, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, June 3, 2026, at her home, with her loving family by her side, and under the care of West Virginia Caring.

She was born Sunday, May 12, 1935, at Oakland, Maryland, a daughter of the late Arthur Young Hinebaugh and Anne Lucille Fresh.

She was twice married.

First to Frank Dale Roberts and second to Robert Leman Auvil. Both preceded her in death.

Surviving are three sons, Frank A. Roberts and wife, Rachel, of Hendricks, Robert L. Roberts and wife, Pamela, of Hambleton and Kelly C. Roberts and wife, Sandi, of Hendricks; one daughter, Roxanne Tuesing of Hendricks; four stepsons, Stephen Auvil and wife, Anne, Ryan Auvil and wife, Jaime, Matthew Auvil and Brendan Auvil and wife, Jennifer, all of Maryland; one stepdaughter, Megan Auvil of Maryland; one sister, Jane Parsons and husband, Bud, of Parsons; 10 grandchildren, Jen (Andy), Amy, Carrie (Cade), Rebecca, Emily (Taylor), Frank (Beth), Ryan, Solena (Nick), Chelsea (Robbie) and Skyler (Kim); 21 great- grandchildren, Matthew, Elliott, Anna, Oliver, Arlana, Nora, Audrey, Harrison, Brock, Rhys, Gage, Quinn, Liam, Marshall, Odessa, Ashton, Chase, Silas, Isaac, Owen, Conner and one on the way; 16 step-grandchildren, Race, Coyle, Alec, Conley, Olive, Blakely, Maryn, Quinlan, Millie, Mackallyn, Beatrice, Milton, Michael (Katie), Elizabeth (Brandon), Tabitha and Devin; step-great-grandchildren, Raegan, Teagan, Sophia, Amelia, Savannah, Hailey, Bella, Jamison and Bentley; and special caregiver, Roberta Alderman

Preceding her in death, an infant daughter, Frances Anne Roberts; and infant son, Tommy Roberts; and two grandchildren, Jillian Roberts and Jacob Roberts.

She was a graduate of Parsons High School with the class of 1953 and attended Potomac State College. She worked in Tucker County Schools as a teacher’s aide, retiring in 1997. She attended Hendricks Community Church. She loved traveling and enjoyed flowers, gardening and dancing, big band and swing music.

She loved being “Grannie” to all of her loving grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons, West Virginia, on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the funeral hour.

The Rev. V.J. Davis will officiate and interment will follow at the Fansler Cemetery at Hendricks, West Virginia.
