Jessie Elizabeth Warner Sponaugle, 101, a resident of Valley Bend, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in the West Virginia Caring Hospice Facility in Elkins.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2026, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, from the funeral home chapel, with Jeremie Sponaugle officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman.
The family request memorial contributions be made to the Vision Worship Center, 1612 Lavalette Ave., Elkins, WV 26241 or a charity of choice in memory of Mrs. Sponaugle.
The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Jessie Elizabeth Sponaugle.
