Gabriel Micheal Cantwell
Infant Gabriel Micheal Cantwell passed from this life Tuesday June 30, 2026, in the WVU Children’s Hospital at Morgantown, West Virginia.
He was born May 26, 2026, at Morgantown to his loving parents Joshua Micheal and Harley Danielle (Rockwell) Cantwell.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by maternal grandparents, Shiela Ford of Belington, West Virginia, and Michael Rockwell and wife, Caroline, of Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania; maternal great-grandparents, Harold and Charlotte Booth of Belington, West Virginia, Dick and Sharon Rockwell of Elkins, West Virginia, and Cindy Rockwell of Wichita, Kansas; paternal grandparents, Mary Lester and husband, Billy, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Julius Cantwell of Wheeling, West Virginia; step-grandmother, Vida Lower of Philippi, West Virginia; paternal great-grandmother, Rosa Moore of Philippi, West Virginia. Additional survivors include aunts, Heather Kittle, Adrian Ford, Amelia Ford and Brittany Cantwell; uncles, Randy Rockwell and wife Jennifer, Sully Rockwell, Tully Rockwell, Brandson Ford, Broghen Ford; and George Cantwell; cousins, Klayton, Hadleigh, Karter Rockwell and Rowan Cantwell; special great-aunt, Pamela Simmons; special great-uncles, Chuck Booth and Nelson Booth; several other great-aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Gabriel was preceded in death by his great uncle, Harold Lynn Booth Jr.
Although his life on this earth was short, he won the love of so many and the void he left can never be filled.
Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington on Saturday July 4, 2026, from noon-2 p.m. the funeral hour at which time a funeral service will be conducted from the Talbott Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Howard Swick and Benita Swick and Pastor David Canny officiating. Interment will follow in the Stringtown Cemetery near Belington.
