Gloria ‘Jean’ Dodge Brewster

Jean was born April 17, 1946, to Mary Anzak in Baltimore, Maryland. She was raised in Beverly by her grandparents, Faye and Samanth Smith. She was married to William “Boots” Brewster, all of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Roger Carr, a grandson, Hunter Brewster; and a brother, William “Billy” Delaney.

Jean is survived by children, Angela Carr of Elkins, Donna Carr, with whom she resided, and Kelly Carr and wife, Kerri, all of Beverly, Rebecca Burns and husband, Gabby, Brenda Hooten, all of Valley Bend, Roberta Pienkowski of Tennessee,; grandchildren, Adam Carr and fiance, Leslie Nestor, Justin Carr and wife, Mariah, Tymber Carr and Hunter Carr, all of Beverly, David Lambert and fiance, Madison Craven of Friendly, West Virginia, Lacey Carr and companion, Sam Barbagallo of Elkins, Brittany Chamberlain of Huttonsville, and Cy Brewster of Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Lenox, Paisley, Mason and Jackson Carr, Clayton Lambert, Chloe Brewster, Marceline, Samantha, Milo, Colt and Hunter; her sisters, Joann Sullivan of Crawford, Barbara Myrick of Dundalk, Sandra Sampson, of Beverly, Catherine Bosworth of Elkins, and Rosemary Hanes and husband, Jeff, of Parrish, Florida.

Jean attended the schools of Randolph County and was a homemaker. She enjoyed the simple things in life, working puzzles, doing crossword and circle puzzles.

Jean’s request for cremation will be honored with private family services to be held at a later date.

The Randolph Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Gloria “Jean” Dodge Brewster.
