Keana Olivia Lacy Fenstermacher, 26, a resident of Junior, West Virginia, passed away from this life way too soon, at her residence from injuries sustained from a structure fire that occurred at her residence on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, with her father, sister and fiance.
Keana was born on March 23, 2000, in Elkins, West Virginia, a daughter to Amanda Dawn Cobb, of Moatsville and the late Kenny Fenstermacher.
She was engaged to be married to Jay Hedrick, who also perished in the fire.
Keana leaves behind her twin brother, R.J. Fenstermacher of Fairmont West Virginia; maternal grandmother, Patrica Cobb of Moatsville; future stepmom, Juanita Haden; maternal aunts, Renee Evans, and Shanna Mayle; maternal uncle, Roger Barcus; paternal uncles, Thomas Fenstermacher and wife, Fran, Buster Fenstermacher and wife, Adrian, David Fenstermacher and wife, Debbie; paternal aunts, Fay Lynn Sandridge and husband, Rick, Ellen Harris and husband, Rick; several, cousins and friends three of which was just like family to Keana, Gena Kelley, Beth Ann Howdyshell, and Larry Frey.
Proceeding her in death was her father, Kenny Fenstermacher; and sister, Kayley Marie Fenstermacher, who perished in the fire; paternal grandparents, Thomas B. Fenstermacher and Nancy Louise (Strawder) Fenstermacher; maternal grandfather, Ronald Cobb.
Miss Fenstermacher was a Christian by faith and she attended the schools of Barbour County and was a graduate from Philip Barbour High School with the class of 2018. She worked for Hometown Care in Belington. She loved being outside, camping and traveling. Keana played video games with her sister and friends, loved to watch wrestling with her family, and made crafts. She loved to spoil Beth Anne’s children most of all.
Family and friends may gather at the Auditorium on the campus of Battlers Knob 101 College Hill Rd., Philippi WV on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 5 until 8 p.m. and again on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 9 until 11 a.m. the funeral hour, with Pastor Rick Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Trinity Cemetery near Junior, where she will be laid to rest with her father and sister.
