Kenny Fenstermacher, 60, a resident of Junior, West Virginia, passed away from this life way too soon, at his residence from injuries sustained from a structure fire that occurred at his residence on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, his passing was sudden and unexpected, with his two daughters and future son in law. He lived a life filled with love and purpose, and he dedicated himself to his family and friends.

Kenny was born on Aug 6, 1965, in Richmond, Virginia, a son to the late Thomas Benjamin Fenstermacher and Nancy Louise (Strawder) Fenstermacher.

He was engaged to be married to Juanita Haden of Dailey, West Virginia.

Kenny leaves behind a son; R.J. Fenstermacher of Fairmont, West Virginia; brothers, Thomas Fenstermacher, and wife, Fran, of Junior, Buster Fenstermacher, and wife, Adrian, of the Audra Community, David Fenstermacher and wife, Debbie, of Philippi, and Allen Fenstermacher of Junior; sisters; Fay Lynn Sandridge and husband, Rick, of Belington, Ellen Harris and husband, Rick, of Akron, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends two of which was just like family to Kenny, Beth Ann Howdyshell, and Larry Frey.

Proceeding him in death besides his parents was two daughters, who also perished in the fire, Keana Olivia Lacy Fenstermacher, which is R.J.’s twin, and Kayley Marie Fenstermacher, Keana’s fiance, Jay Hedrick.

Mr. Fenstermacher was a Christian by faith; and he attended the schools Barbour County Schools. He was a former member of the Junior Volunteer Fire Department. He worked at various jobs, the Junior Quick Stop, and before becoming disabled he was a sales associate at the Elkins Walmart. He enjoyed sitting on the porch and going for rides to watch deer never to harvest one, just loved looking for them. One of his favorite hobbies was doing diamond art, he and his family would watch wrestling together. Kenney would speak to just about anyone he never met a stranger. He loved being outside, camping.

Family and friends may gather at the Auditorium on the campus of Battlers Knob 101 College Hill Rd., Philippi WV on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 5 until 8 p.m. and again on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. the funeral hour, with Pastor Rick Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Trinity Cemetery near Junior where he will be laid to rest with his daughters.
