Betty Jean Hinchman, of Morehead City, North Carolina, formerly of Beverly, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Aug. 20, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Harold Swecker and Pastor Deborah Swecker officiating. Interment will follow at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Light Tabernacle, 79 Tabernacle Lane, Elkins, WV 26241 in Bettyás memory.
