Eaton and husband, Leon, of Valley Bend and Billie Jo Linger and husband, Russell (Rusty), of Mill Creek; one brother, Don Thomason and wife, Trish, of Beverly; a sister, Linda Davis and husband, Jerry, of Belington; a step daughter, Dolores Moss of Seagrove, North Carolina; grandchildren and step-grandchildren include Wesley Burgess, David Wegman, Grayce Eaton, Ryan Wegman and wife, Takira, Heather Moss, Russell (Russ) Linger and wife, Natasha, Alice Wagler and husband, Larry; a special granddaughter, Amanda Beverage, that Bonnie considered one of her own; great-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren include, Raelyn Burgess, Shane Fortney, Kymber Slayton, Noah Wegman, Kyellis Wegman, Jaxon Wegman, Riley Grey, Gage Smith, Ashton Smith, Kaesen Stahl, Emma Linger, Avery Linger, and Hudson Wagler. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than life itself.

Bonnie was a graduate of Coalton High School. She worked many jobs over her lifetime including Elkins Lumber Company, Grants, Reidboard Bros, The Pancake House, Colonial Millworks and Bruce Hardwood, where she spent 22 years and retired.

Bonnie loved quilting and baking. Baking was her love language. She found great joy in baking for weeks before Christmas and sharing it with everyone she loved. She would often bake something special if she knew someone was coming over. She especially loved making cookies with her great-grandchildren.

Quilting was a passion she acquired later in life and shared that love with her daughters. She made sure each of her children and grandchildren had a handmade quilt from her. She had a sense of humor that came out as she got older. We often chuckled at the things she said or her special words she made up.

Bonne will be greatly missed by all of those that loved her. We would like to thank the nurses and caregivers at WV Caring. Their care allowed us to spend her last moments loving her instead of caring for her.

Visitation will be held at Randolph Funeral Home on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, from 11a.m. until 1 p.m., the funeral hour. Rev. Leon Brown will officiate, and interment will follow in Upper Rowan Cemetery in Mabie.

The Randolph Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Bonnie Gay Thomason Wegman.
