David Lee Snyder, 60, of French Creek, died on Thursday, July 31, 2026, at Vandalia Health Davis Medical Center in Elkins.
He was born on Nov. 3, 1965, in Elkins a son of Frank Elroy Snyder Sr., of Junior, West Virginia, and the late Janet Lee Glendenning Snyder.
He is survived by one son, Dakota Snyder of French Creek; two daughters, Liberty Snyder and husband, Austin Metz, of Morgantown, West Virginia, and Korri Snyder of Morgantown, West Virginia; one brother, Frank Snyder Jr. and wife, Patti, of Junior, West Virginia; two sisters, Judith K. Brady and husband, Richard, of Junior, West Virginia, and Cynthia Snyder of Junior, West Virginia; nieces and nephew, Sarah and Emily Snyder, Danielle and DJ Brookins and Jennifer Elswick.
David was currently employed by Armstrong AHF in Beverly, West Virginia, where he had been employed for the past 22 years. He enjoyed doing carpentry work.
The family has honored his wishes for cremation.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, Au.t 15, 2026, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel in Buckhannon.
