With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Francis G. “Frank” Koenig, who peacefully passed away at home on Aug. 1, 2026, with his loving wife, JoAnn, by his side.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon Friday, Aug. 7, 2026., at St. Brendan Catholic Church in Elkins. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon Friday from the church with Father Babu, Father James O'Connor and Deacon Raymond Godwin as the Celebrants.
Interment will follow in St. Brendan Cemetery where presentation of the American Flag will be made by members of the West Virginia National Guard Honor Guard Program.
The Family kindly request that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St. Brendan Catholic Church, 181 St. Brendan Drive, Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Frank.
The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Francis G “Frank” Koenig.
