Jonathan Lee Arbogast, 20, a resident of Valley Head passed from this life Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026, as the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Jon was born Tuesday, March 17, 2006, in Elkins, the son of Jedidiah Elliot Arbogast and Chastity Marie Lindsay Arbogast of Valley Head.
Left to cherish Jon's memory is his fiance, Tiana Marie Martin and his son, Lawson Ray Arbogast of Valley Head; his sister, Whitney Arbogast and companion, Jason Donahue, of Virginia; his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Lindsay of Valley Head; his aunts and uncles, Milessa Lindsay, Jeremy Arbogast and wife, Stephanie, Jody Arbogast and wife, Jaime, and Tim Lindsay and wife, Shannon; and his cousins, Makahla Case, Levi Arbogast, Hannah Arbogast, Haley Arbogast, Lindsey Arbogast, and Ian Lindsay, and; his fiance's parents, Brad and Jennifer Martin.
Preceding Jon in death was his paternal grandparents, Roger Lee Arbogast and Vicki Lynn Channell Arbogast; and his maternal grandmother, Robin “Sue” Louise Moore Lindsay.
Jon was a 2024 graduate of Tygarts Valley High School. He worked was working with Linger Farms operating machinery and other farm work and also was working for Jay Wallace. Jon was a member of the Valley Head VFD Company 48 and had taken firefighter class 1 and 2. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and taking Lawson on buggy rides around Valley Head.
Visitation will be held at Randolph Funeral Home on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, from 5 until 7 p.m., the funeral hour. Jon's request for cremation will then be honored.
The Randolph Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Jonathan Lee Arbogast.
