Joseph “JoJo” Pennington was many things: a talented florist, a loyal friend, a beloved brother and uncle, and, depending on the day, a man who could occasionally test your patience.
JoJo was born May 28, 1958, and passed away peacefully on July 26th, 2026, at Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center.
JoJo was unapologetically himselfäand that is exactly how he will be remembered. A celebration of JoJoás life will be held on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, at 3pm at the First United Methodist Church in Elkins. Nick Patella will officiate and a reception will follow.
