Martha Lynn McCauley, 79, of Warren, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, at Gardens at Liberty Park.
She was born Dec. 14, 1946, in Sutton, West Virginia, the daughter of Scott and Elizabeth (Belknap) Gibson.
On Aug. 2, 1963, Martha married Kenneth McCauley, and they have shared over 63 years of marriage. As her familyás matriarch, she was incredibly dedicated to them, and she considered her family the most important part of her life. Martha never met a stranger; she found kindness and love everywhere she went.
Martha attended Colton High School. She was a homemaker and attended First Assembly of Pentecost.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth James McCauley of Warren, Ohio; daughter, Elizabeth Howes of Windham, Ohio; sons, Matthew S. McCauley of Tallmadge, Ohio, and Kevin T. McCauley of Akron, Ohio; siblings, Kathy Swecker, Vincent Gibson, Melinda (William âJrã) Phillips and Rick (Kim) Gibson; her 11 grandchildren, Zak, Josh, Katie (Cameron), Corrie, Leigha (Brad), Alex, Kyle, Caleb, Kyran, and Isis; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her sons, Winford Dale McCauley and Kenneth âJimmyã McCauley II; and brothers, Winford Gibson, Edward Gibson, Wayne Gibson and Frank Gibson.
Services will be held at noon on Aug. 31, 2026, at the First Assembly of Pentecost Church in Braceville, Ohio, with Pastor William McCartney officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., two hours prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be in Windham Cemetery, Windham, Ohio.
The family requests any material contributions be made to the First Assembly of Pentecost, in her memory.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
