Debra Stalnaker Riddlebarger

Debra Stalnaker Riddlebarger, 76, a resident of Elkins, passed away Saturday evening, Sept. 5, 2026, at the home of her son, Sam Loria in Kingwood, West Virginia.

She was born Sept. 7, 1949, in Elkins a daughter of the late James Richard Stalnaker and the late Ruth Sponaugle Stalnaker. She was married to Warren Riddlebarger, who preceded her in death April 11, 1983.

Surviving are two sons, Samuel John Joseph Loria of Kingwood, West Virginia, and Steven Paul Austin of Frederick, Maryland; one daughter, Ruth Angela Loria of Elkins; a brother, Fonso Stalnaker of Fairmont, West Virginia; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren also survive.

Also preceding her in death was one brother, James Stalnaker.

Debbie attended the schools of Randolph County and was a graduate of Elkins High School. She was employed by Davis Memorial Hospital for many years and was employed at Women's Aid in Crisis in Elkins. She was an active member of the Elkins Family Worship Center, where she was involved with many of the church functions.

Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at the Elkins Family Worship Center, 1402 Taylor Ave., Elkins.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, from the Worship Center with Pastor Jamie Estep, Pastor John Taylor and Pastor Joey Ridenour officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman.

The family request contributions be made to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 636 W. Lexington St., Baltimore, Md 21201 in memory of Debbie.
