Gertrude Helen “Trudy” Carowick, 87, a resident of Elkins, passed away Sept. 15, 2026 at her home.
Trudy's request for cremation will be honored. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, at the First United Methodist Church, 315 Kerens Avenue, Elkins. Pastor Tim Eden will officiate.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to W.V. Caring Hospice, P.O. Box 760, Arthurdale, WV 26520 or the First United Methodist Church, 315 Kerens Avenue, Elkins, WV 26241.
The Tomblyn Funeral home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Gertrude Helen “Trudy” Carowick.
