James Russell Vandevander, 59, of Circleville, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, Sept 13, 2026, at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia as the result of a motor vehicle accident earlier that evening in Highland County, Virginia. .
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, and a funeral service will be held at noon Monday, Sept. 21, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Mike Lambert officiating.
Interment will be at the Vandevander Cemetery.
