Malcolm C. “P.nut” Roy, 67, a resident of Thomas, West Virginia, departed this life Tuesday, Sept 22, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Monday, Feb. 2, 1959, at Parsons, West Virginia, a son of the late Charles Roy and Carol Phillips Lewis. Surviving are three daughters, Shauna Marie Evans of Maine, SeReena Plum and fiance, Joshua, Blankenship of Thomas, Casey Kesner and husband, Scott, of Pennsylvania; five half-brothers, Pooch Roy, of Tennessee, Bob Roy of Pennsylvania, Denver Roy and Rob Roy, both of Parsons, Mike Roy of Davis; three half-sister, Kimberly Kittle of Oakland, Maryland, Vickie Pifer and Kathy Roy, both of Parsons; one grandson, Lindon Kesner of Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved pit bull, Rebel.
Preceding him in death is one half-sister, Vanessa Troutman.
He worked as a roofer for Brown & Mary Roofing while living in Maryland. He was Christian by faith.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting very much. “P.nut” was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed.
Mr. Roy's request for cremation was honored. There will be family planned Celebration of Life at a later date.
