Pamela Sue Henline Phillips Taylor, 72, a resident of Valley Bend passed from this life, Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026, at Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center in Elkins.
Pamela was born Tuesday, Aug. 31, 1954, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Hartsel Henline and Zelpha Dusky Henline.
Left to cherish Pamela's memory are two sons, Gary Henline of Ohio and Michael Firl of Barrysville, Virginia, who was later adopted by Joyce May. She is also survived by her brother Larry David Henline and wife, Ada Mae, of Mill Creek; two sisters, Kathy Lindsay and husband, Bill, of Huttonsville and Joyce May of Barryville, Virginia; a special niece, Debbie Taylor; a special friend, Arnold Taylor; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding Pamela in death besides her parents were two daughters, Christina Henline and Ellen Michelle Phillips; one brother, James Henline; four sisters, Ilene Booth, Carolyn Taylor, Gloria Tacy and Sharon Amos; and a brother-in-law, Gary May.
Pamela attended the schools of Randolph County and was a homemaker. She enjoyed yardwork and being outdoors, and you could usually find her chewing on bubble gum or ice. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Spending time with her family and friends was her favorite pastime.
The family's request for cremation will be honored with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
