Barrett Burch, 51, a resident of Montrose, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026, at his home following an extended illness.
He was born July 2, 1975, at Ogdensburg, New York, a son of Stanley J. Burch and Maryann Foster Burch, who reside at Montrose. Also surviving is a sister, Shasta Burch at home.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Clifford and Anna Foster; and his paternal grandparents, Homer and Nell Burch.
Barrett was a graduate of Tucker County High School. He attended St. Brendan Catholic Church in Elkins. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026, at St. Brendan Catholic Church with Father Babu Joseph and Deacon Raymond Godwin as the Celebrants. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery near Thomas, West Virginia.
At the request of the family, flowers are to be omitted.
The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Barrett Burch.
