Katrina Anne Marshall Geesey, 50, a resident of Bowden, passed from this life Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026, at her residence following a long battle with MS.
Katrina was born on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 1976, in Dearborn, Michigan, a daughter of Kate Worden Marshall of Detroit, Michigan and the late Warren Marshall.
On April 14, 2007, at Blackwater Falls, she was married to John Clark Geesey, who survives.
Katrina attended school in Michigan and had worked in the hospitality and food service industry.
In 2006, she moved to West Virginia with her soon-to-be husband, Clark. She found peace and serenity in the mountains and developed an affinity for the simple life found therein. It was here that she found a passion for cooking and often described it as "cooking with heart".
Katrina leaves behind her loving husband, Clark; her mother, Kate; her brothers, William Marshall of Elkins, Joe Marshall and Scott Marshall, both of Detroit, her four stepchildren, Corey Geesey of Franklin, Indiana, Jeremy Geesey of Bowden, Katrina Geesey of Kunkle, Ohio, and Amanda Geesey of Angola, Indiana; eight grandchildren; her three dogs, Gizmo, Angus and Karma; and many other family members and friends.
Katrina's request for cremation will be honored.
The Randolph Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Katrina Anne Marshall Geesey.
