Lisa Dawn Tomblyn Preusch

Preusch

Lisa Dawn Tomblyn Preusch, 62, a resident of Elkins, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on Sept. 20, 1964, a daughter of the late Myron and Sue Tomblyn.

Lisa married the love of her life, Chuck Preusch, on May 20, 1994. Together, they built a life filled with love, family and countless memories.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Chuck Preusch; her three daughters, Julie, Katie and Amelia Preusch; and her grandchildren, Brooks and Addison Fehrenbach, children of Katie Preusch and Tyler Fehrenbach.

Being a "Mimi" was truly the light of Lisa's life. Her grandchildren brought her immeasurable joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

She is also survived by her brothers, Phil Tomblyn and wife, Karen, and Mark Tomblyn and wife, Dinah; nephew, Alex Tomblyn; niece, Amanda Gainer and her husband, Ryan, along with their children, Londyn and Brody Gainer; sisters-in-law, Laurel Hansen and husband, Bob, Janice Valencio and husband, Joe, and Sherry Preusch, along with her children, Jennifer Preusch and Jessica Weinburg.

In addition to her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, David Preusch.

Lisa was co-owner of Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins with her brothers Mark and Phil Tomblyn following the death of their parents.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Elkins, West Virginia. She was also a member and volunteer of the Elkins Rotary Club, Randolph County Humane Society, WV Children's Home, Randolph Chapter No. 74 Order of the Eastern Star & Delphia Rebekah Lodge 103, Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge 116 and Beta Sigma Phi -- Alpha Sigma Chapter.

Lisa loved the Mountain State Forest Festival and spent many years volunteering her time in The Queen's Department. Lisa had a special love for animals and found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed spending time at the cabin, Polaris rides and camping with friends, preparing meals and hosting gatherings, but most of all spending precious time with her family and friends.

Her love, laughter and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Though Lisa's earthly journey has ended, the love she gave, the memories she created and the lives she touched will live on forever.

She will be forever loved, forever missed and never forgotten.

Friends may call Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, from the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Tim Edin and Rev. Dr. Ellis Conley officiating.
