Betty Jean Smith, 81, of Upper Tract, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 15, at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, where a funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 16, with Pastor Sam Harper officiating.
