Elva Mae (Rodgers) Smith

Elva Mae (Rodgers) Smith, 64. of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and formerly of Petersburg, West Virginia, died on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Funeral services will be Monday, July 15, 2024, from the chapel of Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg. Elva’s family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Richard Carl Smith

Richard Carl Smith, 84, of Port Deposit, Maryland, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, in the ChristianCare Union Hospital of Elkton, Maryland. Born May 24, 1939, in Elkins, West Virginia, he was the son of the late James and Mary Boggs. Mr. Smith was a veteran of the U.S. Army 101 Airborne, having served from 1959 until 1961. He was retired from the former Wiley Manufacturing Company of Port Deposit, Maryland, where he was employed in Quality Control.
