Richard Carl Smith, 84, of Port Deposit, Maryland, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, in the ChristianCare Union Hospital of Elkton, Maryland. Born May 24, 1939, in Elkins, West Virginia, he was the son of the late James and Mary Boggs. Mr. Smith was a veteran of the U.S. Army 101 Airborne, having served from 1959 until 1961.
