Jessie Elizabeth Warner Sponaugle, 101, a resident of Valley Bend, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in the West Virginia Caring Hospice Facility in Elkins. She was born Dec. 2, 1924, at Hunting Ground, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Amby Warner and the late Surrilda Waybright Warner. On March 21, 1946, at Oakland, Maryland, she was married to Cranston J. Sponaugle, who preceded her in death Dec. 13, 2019.
