Sharlene B. Carr, 89, of Akron, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Lohr & Barb Funeral Home, 312 Main Street, Parsons, West Virginia, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. The Reverend Justin Jones will officiate, and interment will follow at the Bright’s Chapel Cemetery in Dry Fork, West Virginia.
