Carolyn “Sue” Howell Shreve, 78, a resident of the Stalnaker Run Road Community, Elkins, West Virginia, departed this life Saturday morning, Nov. 15, 2025, at the WVU Medicine United Hospital Center at Bridgeport, West Virginia. She had been in declining health for the past two years. The family will receive friends at the Refuge Church at Gilman from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 21, 2025. Linda (Riggleman) Burgess, 78, of Rustburg, Virginia, and formerly of Arthur, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025. Elizabeth Mae Carr Harper, 70, a resident of Alpena, West Virginia, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, in the Davis Medical Center.
