Barbour County celebrates fathers

Hello from Barbour County! Congratulations to Phillip Barbour's baseball team, who made it to the state tourney for the first time in 50 years! Way to go!

Faith Way Baptist Church would like to invite you to Vacation Bible School June 16-20. This will take place at Camp Popeye every evening beginning at 6 pm. Come out and join the "Pioneers and Prairie Dogs" for a good time.

There will be a men's clothing give away on June 17 at the Golden Rule in Belington from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be door prizes, as well as crafts for kids.

There will be a Father's Day brunch at Adaland mansion on June 15 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Harvest Home Catering will provide a delicious feast.

Crafters and vendors are wanted for the Independence Day celebration at the Barbour County fairgrounds on July 5 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Applications are due by June 29. To submit an application or for more information send an email to barbourceos@gmail.com.

Calling all Jeeps! There will be a Jeep fest at Battlers Knob on July 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come out and join the fun for Jeep lovers of all ages. Prizes will be awarded.

The Gospel music group, The Hoppers will be at Battlers Knob on July 25. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. General admission tickets are $25 and VIP are $30. Go to www.battlersknobwv.com for tickets.
